MIR hosted 4 amazing post Eid-ul-Adha networking dinners across Manchester, London, Birmingham and Glasgow throughout July (watch here on Islam Channel).
The events were well attended and brought together hundreds of new and old members, providing a much needed opportunity for catching up with one another with great food within arms reach.
The occasion in London also saw the ceremonial charity cheque for over £15,000 being handed to Muslim Aid (received by Khalid Javid [CEO] and Mustafa Farooqui [Chairman of Trustees]) for our recent fundraising efforts to support needy Syrian families with food and homes. We’d like to give a special thanks again to all our kind donors and supporters who enabled this to happen, mashaa’Allah – and hope to continue our efforts later in the year!
