About MIR
Muslims in Rail (MIR) is a national network of professionals drawn from leading rail and transport organisations. Motivated by our faith, we are committed to connecting, growing and inspiring people working or seeking a career in the rail industry.
We connect our members by hosting social networking events across the country. We help grow our members through network collaborations, whilst inspiring the next generation of railway professionals in schools via our STEM education programmes.
What we do
We encourage our members to give back to society - hosting charity volunteering and appeals for humanitarian causes. In addition, MIR advises on Diversity and Inclusion matters related to Muslims in the workplace.
MIR serves as a not-for-profit social enterprise and is a founding member of Consortium GB, an umbrella body of over a dozen leading UK Muslim professional networks.
