Our vision is to connect, grow & inspire young Muslims working or seeking a career in the rail industry. Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) education, as well as early engagement for all young Muslims across the UK, plays a major part in supporting this vision.

Why we are doing this?
Young Muslim boys and girls from all backgrounds have the aspiration, knowledge and skills to thrive, with more and more progressing into professional STEM-related careers within the railway.
Employers are on the lookout to gain access to knowledgeable, talented people from diverse backgrounds with strong skills, which will benefit them by increasing productivity, competitiveness and meet their diversity initiatives.
STEM Ambassadors who run STEM Sessions continually develop their STEM knowledge and experience, maximising their impact as well as enhancing their own Continuous Professional Development (CPD) towards professional accreditation as well as community engagement.
Families and communities recognise the value of early engagement to young people, encouraging and supporting them in studies to build their careers based around their interests.
School Visits
Our aim is to reach out to primary and secondary schools via our various associations. To inspire young people to benefit from the expertise demonstrated via the current railway professionals through interactive workshops, careers events and family days out.
