The next leg of Muslims in Rail Eid Dinners took members to the delicious Rayyan Restaurant in Baker Street, London.
Our team were delighted to present Muslim Aid UK with a cheque of £12,275 collectively raised for our school project in Sierra Leone, thanks to fundraising efforts from hundreds of kind donors throughout the year.
These funds will support the school’s restoration – a new Engineering education facility, a water well, and the provision of essential supplies such as; teaching materials, furniture, uniforms, and more. With the funds raised so far, mashaa’Allah we have covered provision of the water well and school bus – leaving approximately £4,000 towards the £20,000 total need for the construction of the school.
