MIR took part again in the Al-Noor Dragon Boat Race, competing against over 50 other teams and raising money for our charity partner Muslim Charity.
The competition involved three heats and the best times for the top nine teams to go ahead for the final.
This year, MIR has raised funds for Muslim Charity, for our School in Uganda Project. A number of refugees have arrived in Uganda from neighbouring countries and need help and assistance. With the kind help of donors, we can help turn these poor students’ lives around and provide children with a safe, functional and welcoming school inshaa’Allah.
