Muslims in Rail had a fantastic day celebrating #WorldHijabDay with hundreds of railway users in London Paddington Station (watch here). We shared the beautiful Islamic principles of modesty with our passengers by offering them the opportunity to experience wearing a headscarf. The reactions and reflections of those who participated were incredible, and the conversations sparked by the event were valuable and important.
Some people chose to continue their day wearing the headscarf, either because they enjoyed wearing it, or because they wanted to see the reactions of people around them.
