Muslims in Rail were pleased to meet with colleagues and community members at our first Discover Ramadan Iftar dinner at Manchester last night.
Attendees benefited from a tour of Khizra mosque, and joined in with Iftar (breaking of fast).
We were pleased to receive positive feedback from our attendees, many of which stated it was their first time visiting a mosque.
Nina Lockwood shared “we felt such a strong sense of the importance of community … and the importance of celebrating our differences, as diversity helps make us all stronger”.
